Who is Eligible?
* Original work executed by and or with
appropriate tools made by original artists.
* Reproductions and prints of own original work may
be sold the day of the show.
* Personal representative are permissible to help
sell artists works. Sales agents for groups of
artists or galleries are not allowed.

What is the
deadline?
* Postmarked by 5PM, Friday March 28,2008
* Submission of an application is a commitment to
participate.
*Late applications may be accepted at the discretion
of the City of the Hills Selection Committee.

What are the fees?
* $25.00 application fee (non-refundable)
* $75 - 10X10 Booth Fee
* $125 - 10X20 Booth Fee
* Checks made out to The Arc Otsego
* 2007 award winners are exempt form the application
fee and do not need to submit images.

What needs to be
mailed by March 28, 2008?
* Completed and signed application
* $25.00 application fee - payable to The Arc Otsego
* $75 or $125 booth fee (refunded upon application
denial), payable to The Arc Otsego.
* Three slides or digital images accurately
representing your category.
* SASE (2oz. Postage)

How are the
committee decision/booth assignments made?
* Decisions mailed by April 15th,2008
* Denied applications will have booth fee returned.
* Selection committee decisions are final.
* Booth assignments will be made prior to the
festival
* Repeat exhibitors have the option of identifying a
preferred booth space on a first come first serve
basis.

What are the
regulations for art work?
* All Work exhibited must be original
* No "buy-sell" or imports
* Use of kits, molds, patters, plans, prefabricated
forms or other commercial methods is not permitted.
* Artists are responsible for the arrangements for
shipping or delivering artwork to buyers.

How do I set up?
* Between 7am & 9am
* You will provide your own 10x10 canopy
* You will be given a numbered postcard which will
correspond with the number chalked on the street.
* Electricity is available - bring extension cords
* Rain covers, tie-downs, weights are recommended
* Festival takes place on a paved street
* Booths and displays dismantled by 5pm
* All cars enter at the Main/Chestnut intersection
and exit at the Main/Ford intersection for setup as
well as take down.

How does the
judging process work?
* Will take place between 10am and Noon
* Select one piece of artwork in your category
* Display in prominent area with artist name and
category
* Selected piece does not need to be one of the
three pieces submitted with your application
* Artists may sell a winning piece, but will display
the piece for the duration of the festival.

What can I expect
the day of the Festival?
* Volunteers will be available to guide
artists to their assigned booth space.
* Volunteers will be available for short periods if
you are called away from your booth.
* The award ceremony will take place at 2pm at the
Bandstand.
